We live in such a fast-paced world that can make it very challenging to be present in our lives, with ourselves and with others. When we are "pushing through" and forgetting to make ourselves a priority, we may forget how to listen to our bodies, feelings, and needs. At Being-There Yoga a space is created where you can shift out of the chaos of your everyday, prioritize yourself and simply be. The variety of class offerings target different needs and offer a fully rounded holistic practice when taken collectively. Restorative Yoga Sessions

Restorative yoga makes use of props to create positions to foster ease and comfort. It is very different from other yoga classes in that you do very few poses and hardly move. It helps train the body to relax deeply and activate the rest, digest, and heal system (parasympathetic nervous system). Contact me for more information about scheduling and fees.

Compassionate Strength-Based
Group Hatha Yoga Classes

Sundays from 10:30am - 11:30am* | Live Online or in-studio (space permitting)

An opportunity to stretch, activate, and mobilize your body in functional ways with mindfulness, connection, and self-compassion. It is considered "therapeutic" by being carefully constructed to adhere to the preferred movements of each of your joints and muscles. Different options and prop invitations are offered for all levels! This is the more active class option.

The practice consists of:

  • 55 minutes of compassionate strength-building movement &
  • 5 minutes of integration
  • $8/class | $26 Series Month Pass*
  • *There is no guaranteed class on the last Sunday of the month
  • Included in full month pass (see below)

Yin Yoga & Yoga Nidra
Group Class

Every Wednesday from 7pm-8:30pm | Live Online or in-studio (space permitting)

A space to tune in, and connect deeply with your physical, mental-emotional, and energetic body. The Yin practice targets the deep tissues and fascia within the body with slower, longer held postures. During the Yoga Nidra meditation you will be guided into a state of deep relaxation and release. This is the more passive option.

This practice consists of:

  • 60 minutes of yin yoga (slower pace with longer held postures to support deep connective tissue work)
  • 30 minutes of Yoga Nidra (divine sleep) meditation to support restfulness and integration
  • $8 just yin | $12 yin + meditation | $42 Series Month pass
  • Included in full month pass (see below)
The Bhagavad Gita

Bhagavad Gita Presentation (Private group or for 200hr Yoga Teacher Training)

Introductory Yoga Philosophy Course

A 6 week introductory course dedicated to teaching the Bhagavad Gita in an accessible, comprehensive, and engaging manner. Originally created for 200-hour yoga teacher training. This program can be adapted to meet the needs and requirements of workshops, trainings, and as a tutorial for those interested in learning about one of the most influential yoga texts in history.   • Wisdom, Goodness, and Efficiency
  • A detailed break down of each chapter
  • Connection to modern day life and challenges

Month Passes Available

Full Month passes include all Sunday and Wednesday classes & meditations. All Series Month Passes and Full Month Passes include access to live classes with the option of online or in-studio (space permitting). Pricing for Sunday or Wednesday classes and series month passes above. Full month passes are $55.
